A bright and memorable drop. Here in the South Pacific Ocean, Mount TAPI (tap-ee), as the locals call it, is a beacon that rises above the famous Marlborough wine region.

This snowy-topped peak is at the heart of the TAPI and Altschwager Kenneally story, where the vision for our company began and when our first grapes were picked in 2014. 

Four friends, two families came together to create the Altschwager + Kenneally winemaking company, together we created TAPI to showcase authentic Marlborough wines.

We chose to be bold with the TAPI branding which is inspired by the rainbow that forms over the mountain after the rains in the valleys and snows on the peak.

Our family estate vineyards beneath the mountain are home to true cool-climate viticulture and winemaking, and deliver wines that are uniquely recognisable as Marlborough in origin.

TAPI is crafted from grapes grown on carefully selected and sustainably certified blocks throughout the Marlborough Valley.  All hands-on processes, all heart. You’ll know it by the nose.
